Beginning With The End In Mind

Recently a Corvette Stingray was being auctioned on ebay for over $250,000. The paint looks terrible and the car has been modified. What makes it so valuable is who the original owner was. This particular car was once owned by Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon. Hearing about the car, and seeing the picture, caused me to marvel at those who restore classic cars. When I look at the picture I see a collection of rusted bolts. When a restoration specialist looks at this car they see a significant connection with a major event in history. They see hand-polished fenders and supple upholstery. They see the best in modern technology of the time.

God shows up!

In my life, I have not always been the smartest person when it comes to money. Luckily, I have grown up enough that I don’t make the same mistakes now. Anyways, my youthful mistakes have begun to catch up with me in the form of bill collectors. One bill in particular, an old cellular bill, caught up with me last month. I received a letter stating that the collection agency was willing to settle for half of the original amount that I owed.
